  19. Brief description

  22. NetGate is a gateway utility which allows you to use your Fidonet
  23. newsreader to read Internet e-mail and UseNet news. It runs on top of
  24. AmiTCP or Miami and transfers mail and news to and from your Internet
  25. provider. As such it has a function similar to TrapDoor (familiar to those
  26. with a Fidonet background), although in practice the two operate very
  27. differently.

  31. * Reads and writes FTSC-1 compliant (*.PKT/*.OUT) mail and news bundles.

  33. * Sends and receives mail and news directly from your provider's mail and
  34.   news daemons. No intermediate, third party software required.

  38. * MIME compatible, including quoted-printable and base64
